Intel launches their Highest-Performance Desktop chipset

Here’s the Intel X38 Express Chipset. Intel calls it their best till date. Designed for the high-end users, viz. gamers, 3D designers, etc., it supports the Intel Core 2 Duo, Quad & Extreme processors.

It’s hot specs & features are given below:

• Supports Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core 2 Quad & Intel Core 2 Extreme
• Dual channel DDR3 memory @ 1333 MHz OR Dual channel DDR2 @ 800MHz
• Dual x16 PCI Express 2.0
• Intel Fast Memory Access Technology

It also has support for tools like Intel Extreme Memory and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility that can be a treat to gamers and overclockers.
